Ferris wheel goes up

People can already smell the funnel cake. The Ferris wheel, as well as other rides, are officially up and getting people excited for the Ventura County Fair to begin next week. The Fair begins on July 31 and ends on Aug. 11. There will be a variety of rides, food and music entertainment for the attendees to enjoy. Artists including Hunter Hayes, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Plain White T’s will make an appearance. Thanks to the help of 2,000 volunteers, these concerts will be free with Fair admission. To save people money, free shuttles are being offered in several areas surrounding the fairgrounds. Additional deals like Dollar Day and Youth Day offer discounts on tickets.
