One person seriously injured in multi-car crash on Highway 101
One person is seriously injured in a multi-car accident.
It happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday morning on Highway 101 northbound near the El Sueno Road off-ramp.
Santa Barbara County Fire Capt. David Sadecki said five vehicles were involved in the crash.
Crews had to use the Jaws of Life to remove one person from their vehicle. That person was taken to Cottage Hospital in serious condition.
Three others were taken to Cottage Hospital with moderate injuries.
SB County fire and CHP are investigating.
