Swimmers Freeman & Records set for U.S. National Championships

This is Katy Freeman’s last time competing at the U.S. Swimming National Championships. For Katie Records, it’s her first time at Nationals. Both are UCSB Gauchos and both will swim the 200 Breaststroke in Indianapolis. This meet also serves as the World Championship Trials that take place later in the summer.

For the 2009 UCSB graduate Freeman, she is seeded ninth out of 31 swimmers while the junior-to-be Records is seeded 26th. Freeman will enter law school at USC in the fall and has been a big inspiration to Records.
