Fourth of July event cancelled
This year’s Paso Robles 4th of July fireworks event set for Barney Schwartz Park is cancelled.
Fireworks committee members said they made the difficult decision to cancel the event because there wasn’t enough money to pay for the show. The event is funded by community donations that appear to be down this year.
Officials said people who donated money will be contacted.
They can get a refunds or put the donation toward next year’s 4th of July celebration.
