KEYT NewsChannel 3 is seeking a dynamic sports anchor/news MMJ to join our team. The person who joins us will report and anchor sports on weekend nights, then shoot edit and report news stories on weekdays. If you’re poised, polished, inquisitive, a crackerjack writer, and a lover of great compelling content, we want to see your stuff!
NewsChannel 3 is the station on the move in the Santa Barbara/Santa Maria/San Luis Obispo market. We serve a wide and diverse audience with state of the art HD technology and some of the most dedicated (and fun!) people you’ll ever have the privilege to work with. Make no mistake, this job is challenging. The hours can be long and you need to be a go-getter. When it comes to sports, you live to provide coverage that appeals to EVERYONE, not just the box scores. When it comes to news reporting, you are known for your compelling videography, editing and writing of creative, interesting stories.
You must have a valid CA driver’s license and you must have at least a year of experience working in a local television newsroom.
