SBCC Baselball blanks powerhouse Glendale again

SBCC has really zeroed in on Glendale this week. For the second time in three days the Vaqueros shutout the second-ranked team in Southern California.

Tyler Gilbert pitched three-hit ball for 6 2/3 innings and Stephen Foote held Glendale scoreless the rest of the way as well in a 2-0 win for the Vaqueros (13-12).

SBCC stole six bases and leads the state with 78. Tony Simon extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Zach Zehner and Tyler Sharp had RBI’s in the first inning which proved to be only runs of the game.
