The Film That Has Sparked Outrage in the Middle East
A day after the American Ambassador to Libya was killed, anti-U.S. Demonstrations are spreading in the Middle East. The anger and violence is over an anti-Muslim film made in the U.S., that depicts the Prophet Muhammad as a womanizer and a fraud. The U.S. is condemning the violence in Egypt, Yemen and Libya where U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were killed on Tuesday. Several arrests have already been made in Libya.Also, at least 51 U.S. Embassies and Consulates have sent out warning messages to American citizens, asking them to be vigilant and to avoid large crowds. There’s new information about the mysterious man who created the inflammatory anti-Muslim film. He’s in hiding, but investigators look into the script he wrote that has outraged the Muslim community.
