Lompoc Honors American Heroes on Memorial Day
Veterans and community members gathered at the Vietnam Memorial at River Park in Lompoc on Memorial Day to honor the men and women who gave their lives for America’s freedom.”The importance of Memorial Day is to remember those who have fallen and also the patriotism,” veteran Joseph McCormick said.During the ceremony, taps was played and a wreath was laid on the memorial to pay tribute to America’s heroes.
