Quevado Guilty Verdict
Santa Barbara County’s District Attorney says Jesus Quevado has been found guilty. The judge believes Quevado had two previous convictions for robbery and assault with a firearm, both happened back in 2005.
The Santa Maria jury on Tuesday found Quevado guilty of several armed robberies and burglaries that took place in the Fall of 2010 in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
The jury says all of the crimes were committed to benefit criminal street gang. Quevado faces a possible sentence of life in prison. His sentencing is set for this upcoming January.
