SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Technology is evolving into the world of shopping and it may be helpful for some users, especially last minute shoppers.

The app "Cheerful," which is a blue icon and has a engraving of a white present, was co-founded last by UCSB alumni, Ben Revzin and his partner, Kevin Vu.

Revzin mentioned to your News Channel, that this app came to be from his own gift giving experience.

Like many of us, trying to come up with a creative idea for gift giving can be difficult which is where he created "Cheerful."

This app uses artificial intelligence to create personalized list of gift ideas depending on the person's interests, age, and your budget range.

From there, about 10-12 gift ideas will then appear.

"Cheerful" does have a partnership with Amazon and once you select a gift, it will directly take you to the Amazon page where you can purchase the gift.

“What I always recommend is the more specific the interest you type in, the better the gifts are going to be," said co-founder, Ben Revzin. "And there's no limit to how intense you want to get with that."

The app is available to use on on App Store for free.
