Thousands of toys are donated to CSA as free holiday gifts for children.

VENTURA, Calif. - The Children’s Services Auxiliary (CSA) in Ventura County will be kickstarting its 36th annual Holiday Toy Store this December.

Using a donated store front, CSA creates a volunteer-only Toy Store for one month each year.

CSA said, "The store typically provides toys and gifts for over 4,500 children in Ventura County."

The toys are offered for free to foster parents, guardians, birth parents, group homes and struggling families in the Ventura community including those affected by the fires that have ravaged the county.

The Children’s Services Auxiliary is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 who work to meet the needs of Ventura County’s court-dependent children.

CSA said if anyone is interested in volunteering, donating or has a family in need of help this holiday season, they can visit their website here.
