Hunter Hayes set to perform at Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Country singer Hunter Hayes will be performing at the Santa Barbara County Fair on July 6.

The multi-platinum selling recording artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will perform at the Bud Light Concert Series at the Fair on Thursday, July 16.

Hayes has multiple top hits like, "Wanted", "One Good Reason" and "Heartbreak".

He has received more than 50 award-nominations and wins, including five GRAMMY nominations and six gold and platinum-certified singles.

"Wanted" single sold more than 3.5 million copies making Hayes the youngest male act to ever top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

In 2012, he won the CMT Award for New Artist of the Year along with three BMI awards.

The CEO of the Santa Maria Fairpark gave the following statement:

“Hunter Hayes has built a strong country music presence and has incredible talent. We’re thrilled to be able to include his incredible show in our Bud Light Concert series lineup.”

Hayes, a Lousiana native, started his career by making several appearances on national television shows.

Actor Robert Duvall gifted Hayes with his first guitar at the age of 6.

Hayes performed for former President Bill Clinton at a White House lawn party at the age of 7.

He has been a headliner for Dan+Shay and Kelsey Ballerini.

He also did supporting tours with Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum.

Hayes will be performing at the kCOY Main Stage on July 16 at the Santa Barbara County State Fair.

This concert is free with paid admission.

Seating at Main Stage concerts is available on a first-come basis.

Santa Barbara County Fair takes place July 15 to 19 at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
