Santa Maria Christmas Parade of Lights 2019 winners announced

The winners for this year's Christmas Parade of Lights were announced.

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The 2019 Santa Maria Christmas Parade of Lights has announced this year's winners for its various categories.

The parade happened last Saturday, Dec. 7., at 5:30 p.m.

Each finisher received a cash prize corresponding to their placement in each category.

The winners along with their final scores are listed below:

  • The $1,000 Grand Prize Winner Overall: Pioneer Valley High School Panther Pride Marching Band with 162 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Commercial Entry: Michael B. Clayton & Associates with 146 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Commercial Entry: City of Santa Maria Utilities Department with 110 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Religious Entry: Centro Cristiano de Evangelismo with 134 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Religious Entry: St. Mary of the Assumption School with 132 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Youth Non-Profit Entry: Kiwanis of Santa Maria with 136 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Youth Non-Profit Entry: Santa Maria Bmx with 117 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Non Youth Non-Profit Entry: CASA of Santa Barbara County with 145 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Non Youth Non-Profit Entry: Volkswagen of America - Central Coast Chapter with 121 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Other Entry: Lidos with 134 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Other Entry: Knuckles Up Side x Side Off Roading with 133 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Marching Band Entry: El Camino Jr. High Band with 116 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Marching Band Entry: Orcutt Academy High School Band with 113 points.
  • $350 1st Place - Cheer/Gym/Other Marching Group Entry: Santa Maria High School Cheerleaders with 130 points.
  • $150 2nd Place - Cheer/Gym/Other Marching Group Entry: KT's All Star Gymnastics with 123 points.
