Nipomo Noel Community seeking support to give families in need Christmas celebration

The Nipomo Noel Community is working to provide a special Christmas celebration for families with children who are not able to celebrate the holiday.

The local group made up of Lucia Mar Unified School District employees is working in collaboration with local church organizations and other groups to provide a christmas tree, gifts, dinner with santa and more.

But with only a few weeks until the event, set during the first week of December, organizers are welcoming your help in supporting the first annual Nipomo Noel Family Evening event.

“We are asking families individuals to adopt a kid to buy gifts for. zee're also asking people to volunteer their time to help make this event happen,” said organizer Aaron Beloncon.

The event will take place at Edward's Barn at 5 p.m. on December 5.
