Enjoy a slice of California at the 33rd Annual Avocado Festival taking place Friday until Sunday in downtown Carpinteria. It’s one of the largest free festivals in California with over 80 music acts performing and a world- famous guacamole contest. Remember to come hungry with plenty of avocado dishes to try including fried avocado paired with savory sauce, avocado ice cream for your sweet tooth and more.
VENTURA HARVEST FESTIVAL | FRIDAY-SUNDAY
The 30th Annual Harvest Festival returns Friday until Sunday at the Ventura County fairgrounds. Kickoff fall as you shop original handmade arts and crafts, to display this holiday season along with detailed art work. Attendees will enjoy from tasty food samples, live entertainment and a kids zone with interactive arts and crafts. Donate canned goods for 2 off admission. Adult entree cost nine dollars and ticket is valid for all three days.

CHUMASH INTER-TRIBAL POW WOW | SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Native American dancing, singing and drumming will be on display during the 24th Annual Chumash Inter-Tribal Pow Wow this weekend. The public is invited to live oak campground in Santa Ynez on Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the event and honor native american tradition and culture. Admission is free, parking is 5-dollars.
