Santa Maria Valley Humane Society waives adoption fee through Sunday

SANTA MARIA VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Santa Maria Valley Humane Society is working to clear the shelter.

Starting Wednesday, the organization is waiving the adoption fee on every animal.

The goal is to place all of the adoptable animals as part of its “Home for the Holidays” event.

Currently, there are about 30 cats and 20 dogs in their care.

“We are waiving fees on every single animal, because we want all of our precious dogs and cats to have a loving home just in time for the holidays,” said Matt Chan with the Santa Maria Humane Society.

The waived fees will continue through Sunday.
