One more coronavirus-related death reported in Santa Barbara County

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department reported one more coronavirus-related death on Monday.

This individual was between 50 and 69 years old and lived in the City of Santa Maria. This person reportedly suffered from underlying medical conditions and was not a resident of a congregate care facility.

This marks the 106th COVID-19 death in the county.

On Monday, 23 new cases of the virus were reported. 30 people are currently hospitalized, eight of which are being treated in the ICU.

A total of 8,450 people have recovered from the virus.
