SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Santa Barbara’s iconic Stearns Wharf is starting to look a bit more normal as businesses begin reopening after months of COVID-19 closures.

While restaurants have been open for takeout, Phase 2 implementation of California’s reopening plan have allowed almost all of the businesses to prop open their doors once again. The Sea Center and Conway winery will reopen soon, likely in Phase 3.

The Stearns Wharf Business Association is encouraging the community to visit the wharf. Saying there is plenty of room for physical distancing, all restaurants have outdoor seating and fishing is free.

Masks are required for entry into shops and restaurants.
