LOMPOC, Calif - Rapper E-40 is donating hand sanitizer to Lompoc FCC and San Quentin State prison.

E-40 said he is using his own resources to make 1,000 gallons of sanitizer.

The rapper says when he heard about the Coronavirus outbreak among inmates, he wanted to do something about it.

"As you know, hand sanitizer is made with alcohol, and I sell dope beverages so I know many distillers all over the country," the rapper told ABC7 News in the Bay Area. "I said let me get 1,000 gallons and send them to San Quentin and Lompoc. I hope that it makes a good impact."

He posted a video on Instagram of the product being made and sent out.
