Correction: US–California-Sheriff’s Recruits Struck story

LOS ANGELES (AP) — In story published Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, The Associated Press erroneously reported that Nicholas Gutierrez was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, based on a press release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Gutierrez actually was charged with one count of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and one count of vehicle manslaughter without gross negligence.
