Food truck fire in Lompoc threatens to engulf nearby home over Memorial Day weekend
A food truck fire in Lompoc over the weekend caused an estimated $25,000 dollars worth of damage.
Firefighters were called out to the North West side of Lompoc at about 10:30 p.m. on May 27 after a food truck parked in a driveway caught on fire and threatened to spread the flames to the nearby home and RV.
Firefighters made a quick attack on the fire and were able to douse the flames within five minutes after arriving on scene. The home and RV were saved but the food truck suffered damage.
Fire crews remained on scene for over an hour and the food truck was eventually removed from the scene.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
