Avila Beach attracts visitors amidst heatwave

AVILA BEACH, Calif.- Avila Beach is extra busy with beachgoers thanks to this summer’s warm weather.

Avila is attracting both Central Coast locals and travelers. 

"Everything so close by there's restaurants, there's shop, there's a farmers market going on and you know, you have a choice. You can come down to the beach and just relax," said Tracie Oshaughnessy visiting from Coalinga.

Every summer Avila Beach hosts a weekly market. This is a twenty one year tradition.

There is live music, vendors and beachfront restaurants offering special treats.

Avila’s summer market and continues weekly through August 25th.
