Inmate walks away from Satellite Prison Camp in Lompoc
Authorities are looking for an inmate that walked away from Satellite Prison Camp in Lompoc Wednesday afternoon.
Carl Henderson, 47, was discovered missing from the prison camp at about 1 p.m.
He is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, 5-feet 11-inches tall, and weighs approximately 170 pounds.
The U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies have been notified of the incident. An internal investigation is underway.
Anyone with information on Henderson’s whereabouts is asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.
Henderson was sentenced in the Northern District of Ohio to 210 months in jail for Conspiracy to Distribute PCP and Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
The Satellite Prison Camp is a minimum security facility within the Federal Correctional Complex in Lompoc that currently houses approximately 376 male inmates.
