SLO Farmer’s Market celebrates 40th anniversary
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Downtown San Luis Obispo Farmers Market celebrates its 40th anniversary with a block party on Thursday.
The weekly market draws large crowds, especially in the summer, but tonight is extra special.
Vsitors can learn about the history of the market or sing their heart out at the eighties themed karaoke.
The market started in 1983 event planners say tonight they’re going back in time.
Karaoke singers have a chance to win tickets to see the B-52 or Sammy Hagar at this year's California Mid-State Fair.
The Farmers Market runs from 6-9pm and the event is free and family friendly.
