Car driving on HWY 154 rolls over, falls below Cold Springs Bridge in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA COUNY, Calif. — A vehicle allegedly driving on Highway 154 rolled over, falling below Cold Springs Bridge Saturday afternoon.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the vehicle, involving a female driver, landed on Stagecoach Road from the fall.
The SB county fire department sent ground crews to the area where the vehicle fell in order to install a rope system.
An air support unit helicopter lifted and rescued the female driver.
She sustained major injuries and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol says the roll over incident is under investigation.
