The Ventura Police Department is investigating the events that led to two men being admitted to the hospital with stab wounds Monday night in Ventura.

At around 7:40 p.m., officers received multiple reports of a fight that had occurred near the intersection of Main Street and Callens Road.

While en route, officers received word that the involved parties had left the area in separate vehicles. Officers searched the area where the fight had been reported but they were unable to locate any suspects or the vehicles involved.

A short period later, officers learned that two men, aged 19 and 20, arrived at the Ventura County Medical Center with non-life threatening stab wounds.
