Boat Damages Ventura Harbor Pier

On Wednesday July 29 , 2015 Ventura Harbor Boatyard’s 35 Ton Travelift pier
and docks were struck by a 70′ seiner.

The seiner apparently suffered loss of propulsion control while maneuvering in the harbor.

Miraculously, no one was injured.

While repairs are underway Ventura Harbor Boatyard will expand its daily
and weekend hours of operation to serve the customer base.

The 150 Ton Travelift will be utilized to haul and launch vessels while the 35 ton
Travelift will transport vessels to and from their worksites.
