More Than 500,000 Miles Donated To Grant Wishes of Sick Children
Wednesday was World Wish Day and we’d like to thank you for taking part in helping make some local ones come true.
NewsChannel 3, KCOY 12 Central Coast Local News, and Fox 11 hosted a miles drive to benefit Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The goal to reach was 300,000 miles, and thanks to your generosity we were able to surpass that.

A big shout-out and thank you to Jan Ocken from Nipomo who graciously donated 134,026 miles. That adds up to about two and a half roundtrip tickets.
Additionally, we aired very special news stories throughout the day to talk about the importance of donated frequent flyer miles that are used to grant sick children’s wishes.
