Late Night Closures This Week for LOVR Traffic Relief Project
If you’re thinking of driving on Los Osos Valley Road (LOVR) later this week, be cautious, because the construction project to widen the bridge and improve traffic flow will now require a road shutdown this week.
LOVR traffic relief project finished its fifth month of the 18 month project.
The 101 freeway will be closed to put up the temporary false work, that’s what holds up the bridge while it’s being constructed.
Drivers will see the most congestion on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Supervising project manager, Kyle Rowland, said, ” For the northbound 101, we’ll ask drivers to get off south Higurea head north on Higuera to Prado road and get back on the freeway it’s roughly a 3 mile detour.”
Drivers should add another 10 minutes to their commute on Tuesday, especially if headed northbound.
