NEW YORK (AP) — Michael Avenatti is seeking at his fraud trial to portray former client Stormy Daniels as someone who might be delusional. Avenatti is representing himself and has spent two days cross-examining the porn actor. He is accused of stealing $300,000 that Daniels was supposed to get from a publisher for writing a book about an alleged sexual tryst with former President Donald Trump. He asked Daniels on Friday about stories she has told about living in a New Orleans house she said was haunted. Daniels said she experienced frightening encounters and the ability to communicate with dead people.
