Mammoth Mountain receives 4 feet of snow for Christmas

MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. – Snow continued to fall at Mammoth Mountain on this Christmas Eve.

Four more feet of snow fell on the ground Friday and plenty more was expected to arrive over the weekend.

Totals of up to eight feet are likely by the time the weather clears next week.

The entire mountain, including all lifts, trails and lodges, is open.
