Kirsten Moore To Enter SB Basketball Court of Champions
It was the Santa Barbara sports story of 2013: Kirsten Moore leading Westmont College to an NAIA National Championship in women’s basketball. She was able to somehow carry on despite the death of her husband Alex. Less than two months later, she had the couple’s first child and named her Alexis.
On Sunday, Moore will be one of twenty-two individuals who will be inducted into the first-ever class of the SB Basketball Court of Champions, a local hall of fame honoring the many talented basketball players and coaches that have spent time in Santa Barbara.
They are being honored at the Fess Parker DoubleTree Resort beginning at 6 p.m.
