Dog rescued after roof collapse

A dramatic rescue took place in Saticoy, Monday. A roof collapsed at a construction site, trapping a dog. It happened on the 1100 block of Los Angeles Avenue. Firefighters thought a worker was trapped too. The worker managed to escape on his own.

When rescuers arrived, they could hear the dog barking. It took bout 30-minutes to free the 2-year-old German Shepherd, named Vixen. The owner said his dog was keeping him company while he restored his home.
