Gaucho Women’s Basketball Drops 3rd Straight Game

After UCSB took a 33-31 lead in the second half, St. Mary’s responded by scoring seven straight points and they never trailed again as they beat UCSB 49-39 at the Thunderdome. The Gauchos were trailing 31-21 before going on a 12-0 run only to see St. Mary’s answer with a run of their own.

Sweets Underwood led UCSB with 14 points and 9 rebounds. The Gauchos are now 2-5 on the season.
