Paso Robles man arrested for cocaine sales in Isla Vista while deputies investigated shots fired
ISLA VISTA, Calif. - Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Paso Robles man in Isla Vista on Saturday for the possession of cocaine for sale.
The man was spotted while deputies investigated reports of shots fired near the 6600 block of Sueño Road early that morning.
The sheriff's office said they were searching the area for witnesses and evidence around 3 a.m. when they noticed three people sitting in a parked vehicle with cocaine in plain view on the dashboard.
The deputies approached the passengers and found a 19-year-old Paso Robles man in possession of cocaine that was packaged for sales.
The man was arrested on felony charges and transported to the County Main Jail where he was booked and later released on zero bail.
