Board of Supervisors pass ban on flavored tobacco products
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a ban on flavored tobacco products, which will take place next week.
Supervisors voted Tuesday morning on a proposed ban based on staff recommendations. They did not make any changes to the plan and passed it exactly as discussed.
The cities of Santa Maria and Carpinteria passed similar bans last month.
