Field of Light at Sensorio gives back to local charities
PASO ROBLES, Calif. - The Field of Light at Sensorio in Paso Robles is shining a light on local charities that are supporting the community during the pandemic and recent wildfires.
Artist Bruce Munro's enormous multi-acre walk-through installation is made up of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics illuminating over 15 acres.
Organizers of the exhibit said the community has been so supportive since it opened to the public, and they want to give back.
“We wanted to give back during this really difficult time. Families need support, children need support both emotionally and physically and we want to do our part,” said Executive Director Tracy Strann.
The event 'Sensorio Gives Back Sunday' takes place on September 27, 2020. For each ticket sold on that date, $20 will go towards supporting the Family Care Network and SLO Food Bank.
Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio is located 4380 Highway 46 East in Paso Robles.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Safety measures are in place due to COVID-19. For more information, visit www.sensoriopaso.com.
