Yellow Heart 4 The Homeless hosts early holiday feast
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.
It's been almost six years since a drunk driver struck and killed Santa Barbara bartender Mallory Dies.
Her family won a settlement and created a foundation to do good.
Her father Matt Dies helped host the fourth annual Yellow Hears 4 The Homeless on Wednesday afternoon in Pershing Park.
Dies said he worried about the rain, but the skies cleared as they fed dozens of people in need.
He said everyone deserves to enjoy this time of year.
Volunteers joined the Vow4Mal family to pitch in. Vow4Mal likes to remind people to designate drivers.
The guests enjoyed pizza from Woodfire Catering, holiday pies and much more.
