Driver extricated after vehicle slams into building in San Luis Obispo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A vehicle crashed into a building in San Luis Obispo Wednesday afternoon.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. at the Los Padres Inn located at 1575 Monterey St.

No one was injured but the driver of the vehicle needed to be extricated by firefighters.

Crews remained on scene to secure the building and its utilities.

People were being told to use extra caution when driving in the area.

The crash is under investigation.
