20 officers graduate from a Dignitary Protection Training Course in Lompoc

About 20 officers from Mexico graduated from a dignitary protection training course right here on the Central Coast.

It was offered at the Allen Hancock college public safety training complex in Lompoc.

The training was conducted by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s office.

It is designed to provide officers with the skills to protect dignitaries.

This includes governors and local officials.
