Correction: High-Speed Rail Vegas-California story

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — In a story published Dec. 5, 2023, about federal funding for California’s high-speed rail project, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the state is focused on a 119-mile segment of rail between Merced and Bakersfield. The segment is 171 miles.
