Why are you running for office?: | Atascadero needs a strong local voice to advance the quality of public safety and security, local business advocacy, and municipal accountability as well as adding clear vision for the future of a bedroom community. |
What makes you qualified for the job?: | As a native of Atascadero, I'm invested in business, family, community, infrastructure, nonprofit organizations, and my home residence. I own businesses in Atascadero, have worked in Atascadero in construction, hospitality, retail, management, service, and nonprofit work. I currently serve as the CEO of 13 Stars Media, which runs several local publications and employs several residents with head of household jobs. |
What are your two main priorities if you win?: | To secure longterm direction for public safety through municipal accountability, and complete a longterm economic plan for Atascadero. |
How will you interact with other governments?: | Interacting with other governments requires tact and brevity, as well as respectful consideration of conflicting needs and priorities. Keeping close contact with local, state and federal entities ensures that a preconceived understanding is primed for action when necessary to accomplish independent and common goals. |
What are your plans to help overcome COVID-19?: | Following the science and data is extremely important when dealing with transmittable disease. Keeping perspective on the impact to local communities and dealing with national hysteria is mandatory to keep a community moving in the same direction, and ensuring local safety. As the data changes, we must be prepared to follow the data and participate in action that moves the data forward toward the desired outcomes. |
Which two issues are most important to you?: | In Atascadero, building an economic base and maintaining municipal accountability for a sustainable and sovereign City is two parts of a single priority. We must have the economic base to fund the needs and wants of a community. |
