SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Santa Barbara City Fire and Police responded to the scene of a Jeep that crashed into a home in Santa Barbara Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:02 p.m. on the 700 block of Palermo Drive. Less than a mile from the scene of Thursday's crash where a car fully entered the front of the Las Positas Liquor store.

Firefighters responded multiple engines to the scene.

The car appears to have driven through hedges and into the front windows of the home, however it did not enter the house.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.

Police conducted a field sobriety test on the driver of the car, a 22-year-old man that neighbors say drives through the neighborhood frequently. Neighbors also told NewsChannel 3 that the man was driving recklessly prior to the crash.

The driver was arrested after the sobriety test for suspicion of DUI.

Police are continuing to investigate the collision.
