GROVER BEACH, Calif. -- Grover Beach Police and Five Cities Fire responded to a vegetation fire Tuesday morning in Grover Beach.

At around 7:30 a.m., a minivan lost control and crashed into a tree near Highway 101 and the southbound on-ramp near 1200 block of El Camino Real in Grover Beach.

The minivan crash sparked a small vegetation fire.

Five Cities firefighters were able to quickly put out the vegetation fire.

Prior to agencies responding, a good samaritan helped the driver out of the vehicle.
