Local restaurant donates earnings to cancer patient transportation in Arroyo Grande

Mason Bar and Kitchen donated all of their proceeds earned on August 7 to help cancer patient transportation in Arroyo Grande on Tuesday.

The restaurant donated a total of $1,815 to the Transport to Treatment program.

Mason Bar and Kitchen located in Arroyo Grande Village donated proceeds they earned during the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation to support the transportation program.

This program provides safe and reliable transportation for local cancer patients to and from their many appointments at Mission Hope Arroyo Grande.

The program also offers rides to other appointments associated with their treatment.

Transportation is an obstacle for cancer patients due to the many doctor appointments and treatments.

Treatments usually have a big effect their ability to drive.
