Why are you running for office? | I have always tried to serve my country and community in some capacity. There are so many people in this district in survival mode, and I want to do what I can to help them to have hope and to thrive. I believe being elected to Congress will allow me to help the greatest number of people in our area. |
What makes you qualified for the job? | I have a track record of helping people in this community and meeting them in their struggles. I have served as a police chaplain and as a volunteer high school football coach, being a mentor to the future husbands and fathers of our community. I have served my country as an active-duty U.S. Marine. I have experience with all levels of government (city, county, state, and federal) through my private sector career. I excel at relationship building, quickly developing trust, and negotiating to achieve mutual solutions working with the world's largest technology companies. I have a strong economic and business understanding as I will graduate with my Master's in Business Administration (MBA) this August. |
What are your two main priorities if you win? | Getting inflation under control, and then working with state and local offices from the federal level to deal with water, housing, homelessness, education reform, and immigration reform issues. |
How will you collaborate with other governments? | I will be very open and collaborative with other governments, both economically and militarily, that the United States considers an ally. I have a degree in political science, and international affairs interest me most. Our world is more intertwined than ever, with companies doing business all around the world, and problems with our supply chain globally are causing inflation to rapidly occur. We have to work with other countries within our supply chain network to optimize trade agreements and ensure any companies or organizations involved are not taking advantage of our people for excessive financial gain. |
What are the next two issues that are most important to you? | National security and stopping the deficit spending. |
