Special precautions were taken with one specific bird known as the barnyard owl whose feathers are not waterproof.
The birds at this museum play an essential role when it comes to children’s education.
They visit classrooms in Santa Barbara as part of Santa Barbara Audubon Society’s program known as Eyes in the Sky.
