Cal Poly football is set to announce their new head coach on Wednesday.

Beau Baldwin is expected to take the reins of the Mustangs program, according to sources close to the university. Baldwin will be leaving his position as assistant head coach and offensive coordinator for the University of California, Berkeley Golden Bears.

While at Cal, Baldwin coached Arroyo Grande native and current Miami Dolphin Patrick Laird.

Prior to coaching at Cal, Baldwin was at the Big Sky Conference powerhouse Eastern Washington University.
