Oxnard fire forces residents to evacuate

OXNARD STRUCTURE FIRE

OXNARD, Calif- Oxnard Fire Department responded to a structure fire early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out around 1:15 am on the 1200 block of Indigo Place in Oxnard.

Firefighters located the source of the fire in the attic and were able to contain it there. They say that the cause of the fire appears to be electrical.

Two people were evacuated and will be displaced for a while because of heavy smoke damage.
