Oxnard Police investigate death of a 4-year-old

OXNARD, Calif. - The Oxnard Police Department responded to a home after receiving a report of an injured child around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

When officers arrived at the home, located on the 3400 block of Olds Road, they found a 4-year-old boy with serious injuries.

The preschooler was transported to a hospital in the area where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives are investigating to determine how this tragic incident occurred.
